The Shaklee Difference

U.S. Army World Class Athlete Program (WCAP)

I joined the US Army in 2017 and was placed into the World Class Athlete Program at Ft. Carson, Colorado upon completing Basic Training and my job training. I represent the US Army by competing in modern pentathlon as well as taking part in TSET, Total Soldier Enhancement Training, and TARE missions. These are utilized for recruiting and teaching other Soldiers about exercise, resiliency, healthy habits, and other areas that can be translated back into their Army duties and physical fitness training. They Army has been a huge support and help throughout my pentathlon career. It has allowed me such a great opportunity to grow and develop not just as an athlete, but also as a Soldier for the US Army and represent my country. Soldiers First!

Halo Neuroscience

Image result for halo neuroscience headphonesHalo Sport is designed to make your training or practice more efficient by improving your brain’s natural plasticity. The headphones that are pictured below are to be worn for 20 minutes prior and during warm up before training sessions. The primers on the headphones apply a mild electric field to the motor cortex, Halo’s Neuropriming technology induces a state of “hyperplasticity.” When someone trains in a hyperplastic state, the brain’s normal fine-tuning process occurs more rapidly meaning better results from each practice rep.Image result for halo neuroscience headphones I have been using Halo Sport for almost a year now and have seen improvements in my ability to focus and really work on my muscle memory leading to gains in all aspects of my sport.

REST & Float Solutions

I am happy to be an ambassador for REST and Float Solutions. The practice of flotation (also called flotation therapy) is quickly gaining popularity as a primary means of rest, relaxation, and recovery. Additionally, it is being used as an alternative to medicated solutions for chronic pain and generating notable results. The weightlessness achieved by effortlessly floating in a dense salt water solution makes it possible for the muscular, skeletal and circulatory systems to rest in a zero gravity environment, a unique sensation that only astronauts and free divers will regularly experience. Floating has been a great way for me to visualize my events, meditate/relax, and help with recovery from training. It is an out of body experience and has been beneficial with not only my athletics, but with life as well. If you are interested in trying floating please contact me!  Visit the REST website.
